Locking the help server selection prevents end users from specifying a help server from the menu option. You may want to lock the server selection in order to ensure proper server assignment. In addition, you may want to block certain users in a geographical area from accessing help in a global instance and impacting limited bandwidth.
NOTE:
|
A screen information server allows an administrator to display screen information that could be used to enable screen-level context-sensitive help. Screen information servers are not appropriate for selection as an end-user help server.
