Creating a Custom Global or Server-Specific System Message
- Start the transaction using transaction code /n/RWD/ZF0.
- Click Messages.
- Enter the message number, or click to the right of Message no to select from the list of existing messages.
- Click the desired message number.
- Click .
- Optionally, click Standard to view a dialog window displaying the standard text for the selected message.

Click to the right of the Language.
- Select the language in which to create the message. This will also be the display language for those users who are using this same language setting.
- Click .
- As required, complete/review the following fields:

Enter the name to be displayed in the title bar of the help window. You can enter up to 60 characters. Example: No Help Message |
Line 1 |
Enter the first line of the message. You can enter up to 60 characters. Example: There is no custom help available for this transaction. |
Line 2 |
Enter the second line of the message. You can enter up to 60 characters. Example: Please see the company website for additional help. |
Line 3 through 6 |
Enter information in the third through sixth lines of the message. You can enter up to 60 characters on each line. |

To include a button on the alert message that will direct a user to a website address, enter the website address in this field (for example, http:// www.ancile.com) and click activate. |
Button text |
Enter the text to display on the button (for example, For more help). |

Use the Preview message button to preview the display of the standard or custom message.

1. Click Server. 2. Enter the server name in the field to the right. |
- Click Save Message.
- Click OK.
Uploading and Downloading Messages
- Start the transaction using transaction code /n/RWD/ZF0.
- Click Messages.
- Click Batch Upload/Download Messages.
- Perform one of the following:

Download all messages

1. Select Back-up all msgs to. 2. Specify a path and filename. 3. Click to download the file. |
Upload new or modified message content

1. Select Add/Modify Messages using a File.
2. Click . 3. Browse to the location of the text file. 4. Click Transfer to upload the file. |
Delete all current messages and replace with an updated file |
1. Select Delete messages using a File.
2. Click . 3. Enter the path and filename. 4. Click Transfer to upload the file. |

1. Select Remove all messages. 2. Select Are you sure??. 3. Click . |
Activating and Deactivating Custom Messages for the System
- Start the transaction using transaction code /n/RWD/ZF0.
- Perform one of the following:

Activate custom messages for the system

Click the checkbox next to Custom Messages. |
Deactivate custom messages for the system

Deselect the checkbox next to Custom Messages. |
- Click System Setup Settings.
- Click OK.
