If you were operating in a clustered environment, open a command prompt and browse to [Vignette Install Location]\Collaboration and enter bin\stoprmid.bat.This will allow you to delete the C:\Program Files\[applicationdirectory] folder from the server without restarting the server.

- Click Yes on UAC screen.

If this process fails (typically because IIS Manager has not released some files), restart the server or stop the IIS Admin and World Wide Web Publishing services and try the process again.

Uninstalling Vignette Collaboration
- Select .
- Select Vignette Collaboration.
- Click Uninstall/Change.
- Click Next.
- Click Uninstall.
- Click Finish.

If the uninstaller fails because Vignette processes are running, set the Vignette Collaboration service startup type to Manual and restart the service.

Deleting the Directory
- Using Windows Explorer, select the [applicationdirectory]\Collaboration folder.
- Select .
- Click Yes at the confirmation prompt.
Deleting the Database
To delete the uPerform and Collaboration databases, refer to the Microsoft, Oracle or IBM documentation for uninstalling a SQL Server, Oracle or DB2 database.
Uninstalling the Common Apache Solr Search Software
- Select .
- Select Common Apache Solr-solr.
- Click Stop the service.
- Select .
- Click Uninstall/Change.
- Select Common Apache Solr Search.
- Click Next.
- Click Done.
- Navigate to the Solr folder in Windows Explorer.
- Delete the Solr folder.
