Projects and project structures allow you to organize your document needs based on the authors and users who require access. Once you have created a project and a project structure, you can create and map users who act as authors within Solution Manager. Mapping users allows your authors to create and manage content directly within SAP Solution Manager.
Creating a Project in Solution Manager
- Start the transaction using the SOLAR_PROJECT_ADMIN transaction code.

Creating a Project Structure in Solution Manager
- Start the transaction using the SOLAR01 transaction code.

Creating Users in Solution Manager and Assigning Users to Solution Manager Roles
- Start the transaction using the SU01 transaction code.

Assigning Users to Project Roles in the Server and Mapping Assigned Users to Solution Manager
- Create users and assign them to roles within the Server.
- In SAP, start the transaction using the SE54 transaction code.
- Enter AGS_PDP_USERMAP in the Table/View field.
- Click Test.
- Click Maintain.
- On the warning prompt, click the green check.
- Click New Entries.
- Enter the Solution Manager user ID in the Solution Manager User column (for example: JDoe).
- Enter the user ID in the Mapped User column (for example: jdoe).
- Click the Save icon.
