Upgrade a Microsoft SQL database
|
- Select Microsoft SQL.
- Select Upgrade existing database.
- Click Next.
- Verify the SQL Server DNS hostname in the Data Server Hostname field.
- Verify the SQL user name and password already in use by the database.
- Enter the name of the existing database in the Global Database Name (service name) field.
- Enter the port number in the Port field. For example: 1433
- Click Next.
- If prompted to enter your username and password, please contact support for assistance in verifying the database account permissions.
- Verify the Collaboration Server Data and click Next.
- Enter the Collaboration Database Account Password.
- Click Next.

Upgrade an Oracle database
|
- Select Oracle.
- Select Upgrade existing database.
- Click Next.
- Enter the Oracle DNS hostname in the Server DNS Hostname field.
- Verify the Oracle user name and password already in use by the existing database.
- Enter the name of the existing database in the Global Database Name (service name) field.
- Enter the Oracle database port number in the Port field.
- Click Next.
- If prompted to enter your username and password, please contact support for assistance in verifying the database account permissions.

Upgrade a DB2 database
|
- Select IBM DB2.
- Select Upgrade existing database.
- Enter the DB2 hostname in the Database Server Hostname field.
- Verify the DB2 user name and password already in use by the existing database.
- Enter the name of the existing database in the Global Database Name (service name) field.
- Enter the DB2 database port number in the Port field.
- Click Next.
- Verify the Collaboration Server Data and click Next.
- If prompted, enter the Collaboration Database Authentication Password and click Next.
