uPerform is comprised of two major components: the Editor (the client application) and the Server. The Server is used to store, manage, and deliver the content created with the Editor and other third-party applications. The Server environment is comprised of a database, search engine, customer-supplied mail server, and the application server.
The procedures in this manual assume you are working in a three-server environment with a Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or IBM DB2 database in conjunction with Internet Explorer.
