Custom skins can be created for courses and simulations/guided help to provide an organization-specific look and feel to content. The deployment of custom skins to multiple authors from the Editor and Server can be accomplished by the following process:
- Create a copy of a default course or simulation/guided help skin.
- In the template, reference the custom skin in the appropriate course, simulation/guided help publication.
- Check the custom skin and the modified template into the Server.

Only System and Project Administrators can check in custom skins to the Server.

When authors open the Editor, the custom skin and updated template will be pulled down to their computer from the Server.

The Editor also contains import and export functions to create portable custom skin files that can be transferred to authors via email or other electronic means.
