Import functionality allows you to upload glossary terms and definitions from an external source, as well as import a glossary from uPerform. You must ensure the imported file is a tab-delimited text file where the first column contains the term and the second column contains the definition. You can only import one definition per term. If you are working with double-byte characters, the file should be in UTF-8 double-byte format.
Exporting a glossary allows you to create a tab-delimited file of term and definition pairs in a selected language and context.
Exporting translations allows you to create an XLIFF file for translating existing definitions in multiple languages.
NOTE:
|
If you plan to migrate an Info Pak glossary, it is recommended that you use the Migration Wizard. For more information, refer to the Migration Wizard manual.
