After you have captured actions in the target application, you can enhance your content using basic editing and formatting functionality. For basic formatting functionality, refer to Editing and Formatting Basics. In addition, you can edit procedural content to insert steps, notes, tooltips, and branches.
Edits performed in one view affect the other view. In other words, when you insert a note in the simulation view, this note is also inserted in the corresponding location in the document view. Edits should be performed on content stored on your local computer.
As you edit content, icons will appear in the different views to help the author identify the content type or action. Here is a list of the icons an author may see:
